Teaching with Historic Places (TwHP) is pleased to announce the launch of a new section of their website, "Teaching Teachers the Power of Place." Based on the recommendations the public made in 2008, this new site presents tools and resources for use by university schools of education, in-service providers, and others engaged
in professional development for pre-service and practicing teachers, as well as by heritage educators at historic sites and elsewhere. This section of the TwHP website was made possible with the generous support of the National Park Service's National Center for Preservation Technology and Training. Teaching Teachers the Power of Place contains articles; courses, guides, and workshop agendas; presentations; lists of helpful resources; and other materials.
